Important Notice (Updated June 19, 2020):

We understand how important the college search is to you. We love introducing Oberlin to future Obies and for many families that means visiting our campus. Due to COVID-19 and the emphasis on the safety of our community, we have suspended many of our admission-related campus visit activities until further notice. This includes in-person interviews, college information sessions, and any larger admissions events. Learn more about Oberlin’s response to COVID-19.

The admissions office is now open for guided campus tours on a limited basis beginning June 23, 2020. Updates will be shared as additional campus visit activities become available.

We will continue to offer virtual admissions programming for prospective Oberlin applicants and we will regularly update and add to our virtual offerings. You may register for a virtual visit by selecting the appropriate date from the calendar below. Campus Tour

We are now scheduling walking tours of our beautiful campus on a limited basis. Each student/family will have a personalized tour with a student tour guide. Several tour times will be offered daily. Advance registration is required. Please select your desired visit date from the calendar below to check tour availability.

Conservatory of Music Information Session & Tour

We are now offering a combined information session and tour to a limited number of conservatory prospective students each weekday. The tour covers all major areas of the conservatory, including recital halls and practice spaces. Advance registration is required. Please select your desired visit date from the calendar below to check availability.

Virtual Visit Options

Oberlin College Information Session

A live presentation about Oberlin College and the admission process led by an Oberlin admissions counselor and Oberlin student(s) and with time for Q&A. Typically offered Wednesdays at 4 pm EDT, Saturdays at 1 pm EDT, and Mondays at 7 pm EDT.

Information sessions for international students will be offered twice a month at 8 am EDT (UTC -4). These sessions will cover the same material, with an added focus on Oberlin's international student community, and are offered at a time that is hopefully more accessible for prospective students around the world. If you have any questions, or if these times are inconvenient for you, please email international.admissions@oberlin.edu.

Q&A with Oberlin Students

A panel of 3 or 4 current Oberlin students will share their personal Oberlin experiences and answer all of your questions. Ask us anything! Q&A Sessions are currently being offered on Thursdays at 4 pm EDT.

Once per month, our session will focus on topics of Diversity and Inclusion — please register for a Thursday session titled “Many Voices Panel” if you would like to attend a panel with this focus.

Conservatory of Music Information Session

A live presentation and Q&A about Oberlin Conservatory’s programs and admissions process led by conservatory admissions staff. Conservatory Information Sessions are available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 3 pm EDT.

Student-to-student interactive conversations about what it is like to study at Oberlin Conservatory of Music. Offered on Saturdays at 11 am EDT.
