Off Campus Interview Request Form

Students attending high schools in the U.S. and Canada, or U.S. citizens attending high schools abroad, are invited to complete an off-campus Oberlin admissions interview.  If you would like to have an interview as part of your application for admission, please complete the form below.  We will process your request and send your contact information to an alumni volunteer.
    • If there is an alumni volunteer near you, we will send your information to them and ask that they contact you to set up a time and place for the interview.
    • If we do not have a volunteer near you, we will send your information to one of our volunteers who are willing to conduct virtual interviews.  We will ask them to contact you so that you can find a way (Skype, Facetime, Zoom, etc.) to connect virtually.
If you wish to have an admissions interview with a staff member traveling in your area, please complete this form -- we will send your contact information to the admissions counselor so that they can contact you to schedule an interview.

As you consider requesting an interview, please remember a few points:
    • Prospective students/applicants are only permitted one interview.  If you have already had an interview on campus, or if you are planning to interview on campus, you are not eligible to complete an off-campus interview.
    • Interviews are not available for students who are only interested in the Conservatory of Music.  They are for students interested in the College of Arts and Sciences and the Double Degree program.
    • Interviews are not a required piece of the application for admission.  They are a way for us to learn more about you and they are an opportunity for you to ask questions about Oberlin.
    • It can take some time for us to process the interview requests and for alumni volunteers to be in touch with you.  If you do not hear from anyone within 3 weeks, please contact us at arn@oberlin.edu.

Registration is no longer available because the registration deadline has passed.
